it adds alot of depth to the scene, but getting it to look right is tricky. One other tip i learned is that if you have a daytime room theme it is extremely helpful to add like a tree/shrubbery or something outside of scene view and let light shine through it. I also wanted her eyes to be a highlight so i increased the glow level of the eyes and decreased overall light brightness. ![]() It doesn't always come out as planned because im still not the best but the results are still much better than default.įor this i wanted a dark theme but I also wanted her entire body highlighted. ![]() Usually i try to light up the entire character, but if i want certain features highlighted ill put shadows on the features i dont want people to really focus on and lighting on areas i do want people to focus on. I dont really have any special method, i just think of a theme and try to base lighting around that theme.
